Thread: AskDad is back

Hello all:

I know I'm not a new member but it has been a long time since my last post.
After a long hiatus from cruising and cruise chatting, (about 18 months) I’m back. It has been a very busy year and a half for me and Mrs. Dad (Karen) We have entered a new faze of life called retirement. Actually, in our case, semi-retirement. Karen still is a speech therapist in public schools part time. I’ve left public education but I’m continuing teaching construction at the college level as a part time adjunct in addition to running an internet sales site for an HVAC company. We have also discovered “all inclusives” and have not been on a cruise for over a year now. We have found that these resorts are great but are in no way a replacement for cruise vacations, merely additions to them. We have plans to do an extended Mediterranean cruise next summer.

I’m looking forward to getting back to cruise talk with all of you again especially getting advice on our planned Med cruise.
