Thanks to all, and yes I did post on the Carnival site but got no response. I need all the help I can get. We are a blended family and this is our first time going on vacation with all 3 girls. Took the twins 2 years ago but nothing of this magnitude.
The oldest is going to be with us for the first time on a trip so you may be able to understand my apprehension. We are totally looking forward to this cruise and I have been researching like crazy . I do not want to over schedule events but have seen nothing so far that they can do on the board geared towards that age group. Obvisouly the 21 yr old will have a blast. Worried about the 19 yr olds.

    Hey there again!

Something must have happened to your Carnival post, because you only have 2 posts here on CLF and they are both on this thread!

Head over to our Carnival forum and see what our Carnival cruisers can help you with. Here is the link again--> Carnival Cruise Line.

Any help alleving our fears on that would be appreciated. Also looking at excursions in those ports of call that would leave time for sunbathing and a little shopping would be great.
It's been a few years since we've been on a Carnival cruise, but I believe there may be a young adults meet or two during the cruise. There should be many college age kids onboard, especially if you're going in mid or late June when most colleges will be out on summer break. Check out the Capers, the daily newsletter, that will be your stateroom.

For the most part, any activity will be open to your 19-yr-olds except for gambling (unless there's others that require you to be 21). And Carnival has a wide range of activities and entertainment.

And don't think that you're required to do a shore excursion in every port. You're not even required to leave the ship if you don't want to. Many people just grab a taxi and say, "Take me to ..... Beach."
