Hello all! I'm Marci, from Poky (Pocatello, IDAHO). DH and I are going to Western Caribbean in November on our second cruise, so we are fairly new to "cruising". We are leaving TAMPA on 11/2 on LEGEND.
Our first cruise we went on, we took the CARNIVAL LIBERTY when she was brand new!! Wonderful time!! Lucky enough to get a balcony on my first cruise, so I know now that I will ALWAYS have one!! We have one off the back of the ship this time!! The chair saving at the pools was a joke - So we'd get our food or drinks and just head back to the cabin. This time...I WILL take a bungee cord!!
I did a lot of research before that cruise and so I am all over researching for this one. We booked in like January, so we had it paid off quickly - We booked our own air - took care of that and paid it off too. Just booked our excursions - will get that paid off before we go. So - with the exception of the room before and after and spending money, we are good to go!!
Trying to learn the "secrets" of how to smuggle liquid on board - but I'm a water drinker, so I dont think that I'll have to worry about smuggling that!! LOL. DH can bring his 12 pk diet coke, and we should be good. (Not big alcohol drinkers...)
Tried to book a time at the restaurant...havent received confirmation yet... So, now I'm off to meet people that we may run into on this floating island. We have 3 kids left at home - a Sophomore, an 8th grader and a 2nd grader...Leaving them at home with grandma!! This will be like a second honeymoon!!
Well, off to go see what I can find!! Thanx for all the information, so far - and thanx in advance for those who may post behind me!!
