meditteranian

Hi my name is Christiine from NSW Australia

I am new to this site and have done a bit of travel over seas, however I am new to cruising. I will be cruising with the Royal Caribbean "The Legend of the Seas" doing the Meditteranian and will start the cruise the end of September for 12 nights. I am interested in finding out about the weather and what to pack. I will start the cruise from Rome, then onto Mykonos, Ephesus, Rhodes, Alexandria, Athens, Naples. Interested in knowing what the weather would be like and what clothes to wear.

Thanking you

Christine

Hi Christine - a warm welcome to CLF!
You`ll love this site.

We did the Legend of the Seas this June, but we did the Italy and Croatia cruise.
I know some other members here did the same cruise you are going to do earlier this year.
I did a trip report from our cruise if you are interested in reading it.
You will find the report at the "LIDO DECK" - "Topics in Cruising" - Trip Reports.
Or click the link in my signature

The weather in September will still be very warm, around 30C and upwards, so pack light summer clothes!! Bring some cardigans or summer jackets as some nights MIGHT get a bit "chilly" with temps down to 23C

Hi Chrissy. I did the same itinerary on the Legend of the Seas in April/May. If you have any specific questions about the ports I'll be glad to help. It was a great cruise! Here are some of the sights you'll see. The 1st picture is the sphinx in Cairo, the 2nd one is in Ephesus, and the 3rd one is the Parthenon in Athens.
