    Past NCL Employees?

Hi All...my husband and I met 25 years ago while working for NCL. We worked on the SS Norway in her glory days and the five orginal white ships (Starward, Skyward, Sunward and Southward).

Does anyone happen to know what happened to Capt. Lars Engebretsen? I heard a rumor he left the cruising industry and ended up going down with his cargo ship off FL.

Googling has only brought up terribly sad images of the Norway dying on the Indian beach . BREAKS MY HEART!

Welcome to the friendliest cruise community on the internet!

Now that you are "former" employees of NCL do you still cruise? What did you and your DH do at NCL? I'll bet it is quite different being on the "other" side of the service.

You are going to like it here at CLF!!

Loved the Norway - she was a grand lady. It is sad seeing her rotting away waiting to be broken up.

If I don't know the answer I'm fairly certain I can find it.
