Smile Long time since last cruise

    Hi Everyone
My last cruise was on the Carnival Jubilee in 1988, had a fun time, suffered motion sickness. Usually stay on land but kids 13,16 want to try a cruise, so hopefully our sailing on the Liberty of the Seas will be a fun one. After our first cruise, DH is hoping his wife and 2 children all don't suffer motion sickness. Oh well, time will tell.

Welcome to CLF!!! Congratulations on your cruise, I suggest you get Bonine sold at wally and very inexpensive!! The Navy uses it!! It is also safe for kids!! Start 1 a day for everyone the day before the cruise, then once a day after!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

    thankyou

Thankyou for the warm welcomes. I am not sure what Bonnie is. I live in ontario canada, we usually use gravol, but that makes me very sleepy. I too am a nurse but don't have the faintest idea what bonnie is. must be short for something. I am assuming that wally is walmart......sorry to sound so dimwitted but i can't help it sometimes.
    cheers

Welcome to the friendliest cruise forum on the internet

Yes, wally (or wally world) is a nick name for Walmart....you are not dim witted at all

What Sue was recommending is Bonine--go back and re-read her post. It is a non-drowsey over the counter med for motion sickness. Don't know what the equivilent would be in Canada.

Enjoy exploring all the different topics and feel free to join right in

    Bonine

    Generic name: Meclizine hydrochloride
    Brand names: Bonine, Antivert
