In August, your son would be hard pressed not to meet people his age! BTW, Carnival has an excellent kids program so if anything you will be hard pressed to get him to get away from his activities to partake in yours with you.

The Carnival Miracle is the 4th and newest of the lines Spirit Class vessels, entering service new in 2004. It's home ports are Ft Lauderdale, FL in the winter months, and New York, NY in the Summer. It is 88,500 tons, 863 ft long, and has a passenger capacity of 2,124 people, and a crew of 934. Cruise speed is 22 Kts.
