    Hello all, and THANKS!

    Hi,

We are pretty new to the forums. We are a late 20's lesbian couple from NYC, originally posting around the different message boards to see about getting more information on FOD meetings on Celebrity, or meeting other gay or gay-friendly people on our cruise. We are leaving on our first cruise together 2/18/08 on the Celebrity Century out of Miami for the 5-night Western Caribbean to Key West and Grand Cayman.

Can't wait to get out of this NY COOOOOOLD for a bit!

Thanks for all the info passed to us so far, keep it coming! and please drop us a line if you will be on our cruise!

Welcome to CLF Mel and Lauren!! Glad you found us!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Hope you find the info you're looking for. There's a great section here for gays and lesbians under cruise topics and I imagine JoeyandDavid or Andrew (Blazerboy) will be helpful. I know that FOD has had meetings listed in the Patters on my last few cruises (Princess).

It is interesting the number of gay and lesbian couples you meet on a cruise. People are far more open about their sexual preferences but no one seems to make a big deal of it.

When you get on the ship see if there is a meeting of the friends of Dorothy, I think I recall hearing two meetings for the group on the Connie during our cruise.
