Thread: Hello to All

Just stopping in to say hi. I am a new member and I am looking for some great advice. We are booked for a famiy cruise over Easter week and everyone is looking forward to the escape from our cold Wisconsin weather.

My husband and I are taking our 2 younger daughters, 12 and 13 on a Carnival cruise out of New Orleans. It is a five day trip with stops at Cozumel and Progreso Mexico. We are traveling with another couple and their 10 year old son.

I have been on one other cruise with our oldest daughter, 18, but the rest of our group has never sailed before. Needless to say, they think I am the expert. So I am hoping to find some words of wisdom from your members.

I have questions about excursions, the intinerary, the formal dinner, and the kids club. I will try to find the appropriate pages to post my questions. Hopefully you won't get tired of hearing from me.

don't be afraid to ask away. Check out the various areas here (the family section will have great info on traveling with your kids and the destination area will have info on your ports).

Congratulations on your upcoming cruise! What fun it will be for your whole family.

I suggest that you go over to the Carnival board and ask your questions there. That way you will get information from the folks who have cruised with Carnival and have the most experience with that cruise line.

To find that board look up at the navigation bar above and click on Forum Home. Then scroll down and you will see all the different boards we have, including the various cruise lines. Click on Carnival and join right in
