Thread: I bet you can guess--I'm a newbie!

Hi All! My name is Amy. I am a RN living in Indiana. Have always wanted to go on a cruise. My DH has not. But finally have talked him into it. We are hoping to go in September. Not sure where or what crruise line. Any new ideas or helpful hints you can send my way!! We are both late 30s, have 1 child that will be staying with Grandparents, and are fairly quiet, not too party-er types.

I never thought I would like cruising and then I met a guy who enjoyed his first cruise and wanted to go on more. Our last cruise was my 9th, his 10th and our girl's 6th (at age 8). There are many excellent type of cruises for one's first like Caribbean, Alaska and Mexican Riviera. check out the destinations area on CLF and you'll get ideas.

Hi Amy, and welcome! When we were planning for our first we found that it was easiier once we determined approximately where we wanted to go, how long of a cruise we wanted to take, and how much we really could afford. We decided on a 7 day western Caribbean...then looked at cruise lines with itineraries that fit our budget.
