I was in your spot a few months ago. I loved our cruise we went carnival eastern. Best advise is a 7 day anything shorter would not be enough. My kids favorite spot at Nassau was the store Del Sol. Discover the piano bar early that was our only regret. And try the melting chocolate cake. And in St Thomas we rented a cab/bus and a driver named santiago for 20 bucks a person (we had 12} he took us to Magens Bay stopped a few times for photos, Coki beach, a private one we discovered and stayed with us the whole time. In St Martin the further away from the taxi dock the better the bargins. And lastly enjoy ever minute of it. Time goesway to fast.

The only problem about the first cruise is that it is usually the first of many. We have been on three so far and are far from experts, but we love it.

Definitely look for a 7 day. It will give you a far better experience than a shorter one will.
