Thread: New to the Group

Hi Everyone!

I am new to this group and I am seriously considering a cruise on Carnival Glory departing Port Canaveral on Feb 9th.

I will be travelling alone as a female; late 30's. My fear is that I'll be the only person on the ship who is traveling solo.

Does anyone know of a ladies cruise club where I find find some gals to hang out with? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I cruised Solo but still in a group back in 2006. Whenever I wasn't with the group (which was a lot) I made friends with the people on my Roll Call and with the Cruise Director Staff and enjoyed the time by myself too. I bet they will have a singles/travel solo get together but it won't be Ladies Only.

I haven't cruised as a single, but my hubby did, the year before he met me. He didn't know the guy he was paired with, but he said he lucked out and had lots of fun. But he's an outgoing type of guy.
