    Question Hello, everyone

    Hi,

I love travelling, especially, the cruise ones.
I have been only two cruises so far. One on the RCC and the other was on Carnival. I have one more to go on the Princess.

I found this site when I was doing some research of my next cruise. I hope this site will give me some infos.
As a cruise-lover, I think I will stop by this site often.

I am in dilemma. I made a reservation for star princess (Jan 10, 2008 16 nights) to Antarctica in last October which was one month before the MS expedition cruise ship's sink. Nowadays, I read so many articles about the sink and possible danger of cruise to Antartica, especially the big ones like star cruise.

The princess cruise company said nothing about the potencial risk what we might have during our trip. What can I do? I just hope that everything will be okay.
I do not have cancellation insurance so it is not easy to decide to cancel considering the date which is very close to sail date.

    Any comments are welcome.

This probably isn't the best answer but I love Princess and I trust them!! If you cancel now you will lose all your money!! If it were me I would go and have a wonderful time, The captain and crew know much more than I do and would trust them to keep me safe!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

    Welcome to CLF

I can understand your concern about your upcoming cruise. However, there have been many, many cruises that have sailed where you are going and have not had any problems at all. I think that Princess would not take the risk of endangering their passengers or their ships by sailing in dangerous waters. I believe that they will be even more cautious now.

So go and have a wonderful cruise!

I agree that the captain will take extra care. The Star Princess is a wonderful ship (we were on it when it was pretty new) so I'm sure you will enjoy your cruise.

You are going to like it here at CLF.

You will have a wonderful cruise - the captain won't risk his ship or put his passengers in danger.
