Thread: Guess I never officially introduced myself!

Found this forum a year or so ago, and have been here off and on but I guess I never officially introduced myself. I am from Illinois, been married to my high school sweetheart for 39 years, am the mother of 3 beautiful daughters, and grandmother to 6 terrific gransons and one fantastic granddaughter. I cruised for the first time in 2005 with my sister, her daughter, and a friend of the family. I had a fantastic time and convinced my husband to take an Alaskan cruisetour in '06. He is now as hooked as I am. Believe it or not, he doesn't like water. We cruised the W Caribbean in Feb of this year and we are headed for the S Caribbean on a 9 day cruise on the NCL Jewel. I love the fact that everyone on this forum seems to want to help each other out, not ridicule or slam each other. Great place, great people.

Donna! I didn't think I would like going on cruises...and then my then-bf convinced me to try one. Now we're a cruise-addicted family, including our little one who's been on six. Didn't even think of going to Alaska, but that turned out to be a great experience. Southern Caribbean is the one I want to go on next.

Hopefully, you'll get some ideas for some more cruises by hanging out more with us!
