ooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH - I'll bet a lot of Texans would love to move FROM there TO the USVI.

(This Floridian would love to move there, too!)

No, we lived there for 4 years. I was on St. Croix (ships hardly ever port there anymore, which is a shame) but we did go to St. Thomas a fair amount but I preferred to go to Peurto Rico so I could get my shopping fixes between stateside trips.

I wish more ships did call at St Croix.
I have a friend who moved from Florida to St Croix, and he absolutely loves it there.

To follow up with what char said - There are forums for both ST Thomas and Puerto Rico on the boarrd, under Cuise Places. We hope you'll have some things to tell us about both! (And also answer the occasional question that comes up about them)
