First Time Cruiser- RC

Hi,

This is my first post. In June I went on the Sovereign of the Seas. This was a three day cruise. I really enjoyed everything about the cruise, especially the food. The bahamas was wonderful and then it started to rain... and .. rain.. the whole way back it rained. The pool was shut and we had to evacuate Coco Cay. I was really bummed out on our way back, but otherwise the cruise was fun and I am doing it again. Can't wait! I am looking on here to see where I should possibly go next. I was thinking about Cozumel. Any suggestions? Thanks

Stephanie

Welcome aboard the SS CLF. Sorry to hear your last cruise had a little "down" time. But don't worry there will plenty more to come!

Hi stephanie!! Welcome to CLF!!! Sorry about the rain, but it has happened to most of us!! Cozumel would be a great choice for another cruise!! Lots to see and any new port is exciting!! The more you cruise you will have favorites, but it is good to travel to new ones now so you can experience different places!!

Next cruise?

Welcome to cruise line forums and congratulations on your first cruise. We did the 4-day Sovereign cruise to the Bahamas in late May and really enjoyed it!
I agree with Sue that Cozumel is a great destination, especially when you combine it with other "unique" ports.
I assume that Port Canaveral is a covnenient port for you, living in Georgia. RC also sails the Mariner of the Seas out of Port Canaveral, and it offers some great destinations in 5, 6 or 7 day cruises. It is also a great ship.
We wish you the best of cruising in the future.

Flacruiser -

What cruise are you taking? What is your itinerary?

We would love to see a review on recent cruises you have taken. I am particularly interested in what Celebrity offers, compared to its sister line RCI.

WELCOME to CLF, Stephanie!

Glad you enjoyed your first cruise, in spite of the rain.
As Jim said, Cozumel is a great destination... The Enchantment of the Seas, out of Ft Lauderdale, calls there, if you are looking for a 4 or 5 day cruise.

If you are looking for a 7-day itinerary, you'll have a great many ships to choose from.
