    Another Texas Newbie

    Hi!

Our family sailed on our first cruise in June of '06 on Carnival. My dad wanted to get all 7 of his kids together (this has only happened at one other time in his life), and was willing to take us all on a cruise to do it. I have two boys, 4 and 6 at the time, and honestly, I was looking forward to the cruise about as much as I look forward to root canal work. Lo and behold, though, despite some poor shore planning and a whole lot of stress regarding dress codes, we all had a wonderful time. Wonderful enough, in fact, for my husband and I to book a cruise for our 10th wedding anniversary this year - sans kids!

We're sailing on a different line, so I'll be posting a few questions in the other forum, but I look forward to everyone's wisdom and experience!!
