Thread: Just found the site. Yeah!

I am new to the site but anything about cruising interests me. I have cruised on the pre-inagural of the Jubilee, the Big Red Boat with our sons for a graduation present, RCI Enchantment of the Seas in Dec 2004, Spirit out of San Diego in March 2005. I have just booked a surprise 20th anniversarie cruise for my DH on the Carnival Victory Nov. 27thl. I would love to hear from anyone about the ship and if anyone has taken the Americas Cup sail in St. Maarten. We are in our late 50's and from Michigan. We are sailors on Lake Michigan and would love to meet anyone who is going on the same cruise.

I'm going to get you started on getting your questions answered. For info, about your ship, go to this thread: http://www.cruiselineforums.com/foru...read.php?t=931 and post your questions. The originator is just waiting to talk to some about the Victory! And while now has posted about the America's cup, if you go to the Caribbean forum and post a question about that, you will probably find someone with the anwer you need.

I went to St Maarten a couple of years ago, and we did the Rhino Riders instead. But everyone I met who did the sail had a great time. (I don't know if they were accomplished sailors though...)
