Hi christel, Welcome to CLF!!! OK I am an idiot, or brain isn't working yet, and we would love to help, great members here, but what is a CV????
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Hi Christel, Welcome. We're glad to have you here to give each other advice and laughs, it cuts down on the stress. By CV, are you referring to writing a Cruise Vacation Review? Let us know so we can help, we're trying to reach out and help. ?

Welcome Aboard. Glad you stopped by. Grab a chair and stay awhile.

This is a great forum and all of your questions are welcomed and will be answered if at all possible.

Well, we usually talk about cruising but I think we could branch out to help a new friend.

YES: What you did at your last few jobs, when you did it, who you did it with, and how much they paid you.

NO-NO's: Probably best not to mention anything to do with age, sexual preferences, or religion.

    Does that help?

Curriculum Vitae, of course. Didn't you take Latin?

In Europe (and lots of universities here) they use that phrase instead of 'resume'. So instead of filling our your resume you fill out your CV.

The only time all my Latin helps me is when I am reading something scientific. I can sometimes recognize 'root words' and sort of figure out what they're talking about. But you know what they say, 'a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing'... so just as often I think I am right but I am way off base!
