Smile RC-Adventurer of the Seas 4/29/06

Haven't been on a cruise yet but we are taking our first one next month - can't wait! We are going on this cruise in celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary and my 50th birthday. Flying into PR a day early and staying on for three days after the cruise.

Traveller2006, Welcome to CLF. I haven't sailed on the Adventurer of the Seas, but my sister has, and she throughly enjoyed her cruise on this ship back in 2002. She's a huge beauty @ 138,000 tons, and 1,020 ft long.

Some excursions we did in San Juan in 2004 when I sailed on the Carnival Destiny were the San Juan City and Barcadi Rum Distillary Tour. Also since you will be there for three days after the cruise, El Yunque Rainforest Tour.

    Hi Traveller! Welcome to CLF!

Your upcoming Anniversary Cruise sounds great! It'll be wonderful to have a day in San Juan before sailing!

Traveller, we did our cruise on Adventure in 2003, and it is what got us hooked!

BE SURE TO GO TO THE ICE SKATING SHOW. Even if you normally don't care about ice skating, they do FANTASTIC stuff on the ice. It was one of the highlights of the cruise.

We loved San Juan, so much that we picked our last cruise because we got to go back there. We spend our 3 days just in Old San Juan and had a marvelous time. My husband loves military history and we saw every inch of El Morro and the Fort Cristobal. For me, we did a lot of walking on the blue cobble stone streets, taking in the architecture, eating in the restaurants, etc.

    I am so jealous!!!
Have a fabulous time and let us know if you need any info.
