OK, OK, So I will introduce myself
After having plodded around Cruiselineforums for the past week, thought I would take a minute and introduce myself.
I am a 62 y.o. retiree living in Florida with my bride of 40 years (in 6weeks). I retired from the U.S. Navy in '87. I spent 28 years in the Navy so my love for the sea is not a new thing. We discovered cruising in '93 and have cruised at least once a year since then and we love it .
We have cruised NCL (least favorite), RCI, Costa, HAL, Carnival and Celebrity (favorite). Only major line we have not cruised is Princess . . . . . don't know why, just haven't. All of our cruising has been in the Caribbean . . . . living in Florida makes it an easy choice. However, this fall we will be on the Mercury for an 11 night Mexican Riviera cruise. Hopefully, in our future, are cruises from the west coast to Hawaii (RT) and a European cruise. Perhaps, although not a high priority is Alaska.
After a heart attack and subsequent surgical procedures including bypass, I tend not to take life too seriously and this may come across in my posts . . . but hopefully I will never offend anybody.
From what I have seen on this site, I think it is going to be a great site. I have some troubles with it (can't seem to get a review to post, even after repeated attempts).
My hero for posting is SueMiller
