Size (in linear feet) of D1 on Independence

Does anyone know the length and width (in linear feet) of a D1 balcony on Independence and whether a typical double stroller (side by side) will fit through the door?

CodeNameCabin DescriptionD1Superior BalconyTwo twin beds (can convert into queen-size), sitting area (some with sofa bed), private balcony and private bathroom. Rates vary from deck to deck. (189 sq. ft., balcony 68 sq. ft.)

it should, the door is a slider, 7708 and 7688 have huge balconies but they are E1's, I believe 1401 is a D1 and huge

Wish I could help you! But no idea.
It would seem to me that the balcony door would be a standard width but I don't even know what that might be. This is a great question. I hope someone comes along and has the answer.

    Welcome aboard too!

I had an E1 and my concern would not be the door opening, it would be getting it around the bed and turning to get out the door, unless you lift it over the bed and out the door.

I couldn't say for sure but would imagine at least 3 feet.
You or your TA could call RCL and they might have a more exact figure.
It should be the same as any of the Voyager class ships too.

    To Clarify

    Thanks for the replies.

What I am looking for is:

    1. The linear feet. For example, I know the room is something like 217 square feet but how long and wide is it (20 feet long x 10 feet wide, 15 x 15, etc.

    2. The width of the CABIN door, not the balcony door.

    Thanks to all.

No idea of exactly how wide the cabin door is ... but ... know a "side by side DOUBLE stroller" will NOT roll through. You'd need to take the children out so you could fold it enough to bring it into the cabin sideways.

Yes I agree, not fitting, would a single wide stroller fit, that would even be close..

See this is why I am glad I am not a dad, I would try on folding it with the kids in it...

Your TA can find that information from the cruise line.
They have access to all the information that you require that
is not generally available to the public.
The dimensions can vary between cabins in the same category
but the cruise line can get that info for you.
