    expected to begin moving north-northwestward at about 5 mph...7
    km/h...later today.

    Maximum sustained winds remain near 40 mph...65 km/h...with higher
    gusts. Weakening is forecast...and hector could become a tropical
    depression tonight or on thursday.

    Tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 80 miles...130 km
    from the center.
