indicate that maximum sustained winds have increased to near 50

Heck - This one's something like 8 days old now.
She was declared dissipated a couple of days ago, and has now regenerated.
It's been a strange season . . . very active, but fortunate at the same time. We are all the way through thh "P" storm, with only Irene being a big newsmaker. Of course, she was ceratinly enough for the folks up north.
ALL the way north! We ran into her in Iceland!
