Tropics quiet

There are no active tropical cyclones anywhere on the globe today.

The remnant area of low pressure that was Hurricane Tomas is slowly moving eastward between Bermuda and Puerto Rico. A band of showers and thundershowers associated with the remnant low will bring rain to the northern part of the Lesser Antilles and maybe the Virgin Islands today. Showers may linger over the northeast Caribbean islands into midweek.
