    Ugh

Strengthening La Nina could mean more hurricanes
    Story Created: Sep 09, 2010 at 10:33 AM America/New_York

WASHINGTON (AP) - The La Nina climate phenomenon is strengthening, increasing the likelihood an active hurricane season could get even busier.
The update from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration on Thursday comes as residents of Texas are cleaning up from the deluge of Tropical Storm Hermine (hur-MEEN), and Tropical Storm Igor is drifting in the Atlantic.
La Nina (La NEEN-ya) is marked by a cooling of the tropical Pacific Ocean and was reported to be developing a month ago. Weather forecasters say it strengthened throughout August and appears likely to last at least through early 2011.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

As long as the embarkation ports are open the ships will sail...probably changing the original itinerary.

Never fear Tony! The safety of the passengers is the top priority of the cruiselines and captains.

We have 2 cruises coming up...9/19 Eastern Caribbean and 9/26 Western Caribbean. One or both could be impacted by "weather" but we will have a grand time wherever we end up going.
