for the eastern north pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude..

    1. The remnant low of olaf is located over southern baja california
about 60 miles west-northwest of la paz mexico...and is producing
an area showers and thunderstorms along the mainland coast of
northwestern mexico. Re-development of this system is not
    expected...and there is a low chance...less than 30 percent...of
this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.

Elsewhere...tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the
    next 48 hours.
