Tropical Weather Notice - Updated 8/19 6:00pm
- Aug 19, 2009 --- Norwegian Cruise Line is closely monitoring the path of all tropical storms in the Atlantic as the safety and security of our guests and crew is of the utmost importance.
Because of the current path of Hurricane Bill which is forecasted to pass near Bermuda on Friday, August 21, Norwegian Dawn and Norwegian Majesty will depart Bermuda earlier than scheduled, leaving at 5 pm on Thursday, August 20.
At this time, we do not anticipate any changes to the departures of the following Bermuda cruises this weekend: Norwegian Spirit from Boston on August 21; Norwegian Majesty from Baltimore on August 23; and Norwegian Dawn from New York on August 23.
Because of the current expected path of Tropical Depression Ana, Norwegian has changed the port of call order for Norwegian Sky's four-day Bahamas sailing that departed Miami on August 17, 2009. Norwegian Sky first called on Great Stirrup Cay (Norwegian's private island), followed by Nassau today and Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas tomorrow.
We will continue to closely monitor the weather conditions and update this information as necessary.
