    located near latitude 18.4 north...longitude 130.8 west or about
    1385 miles...2230 km...west of the southern tip of baja california.

    Guillermo is moving toward the west-northwest near 16 mph...26 km/hr
    ...and this motion is expected to continue for the next 48 hours.

    Satellite imagery indicates that maximum sustained winds have
    increased to near 115 mph...185 km/hr...with higher gusts. Slow
    weakening is forecast to begin saturday as guillermo moves over
    cooler waters.

    Hurricane force winds extend outward up to 30 miles...45 km...from
    the center...and tropical storm force winds extend outward up to 120
    miles...195 km.
