for the north atlantic...caribbean sea and the gulf of mexico...

    1. Disorganized showers and thunderstorms near the northern yucatanpeninsula are associated with a tropical wave. Some slowdevelopment is possible as the system moves slowly westward ornorthwestward over the southern gulf of mexico today. There is alow chance...less than 30 percent...of this system becoming atropical cyclone during the next 48 hours. Locally heavy rains andgusty winds will continue to affect portions of the yucatanpeninsula and western cuba through tonight

.elsewhere...tropical cyclone formation is not expected during thenext 48 hours.

Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.
