I'm not sure why he would put out predictions that say probably.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

He is calling for less activitiy in the Caribbean and GOM, along with a greater probility of activity along the eastern seaoard of the US.

He gives four reasons for his forecast: 1- a weak La Nina transitionint to a weakto reverst El Nino; 2- strong SAL; 3- cooler SSTs in the "deep tropical Atlantic"; and 4- warmer than average SSTs in the Atlantic off the US East coast.

Well, Sue - It's JB, after all.

And, if you recall, he has been on this east coast kick for at least several years now.

AccuWeather.com: "4 Named Storms will affect the United States - 3 Hurricanes, including one Major Hurricane. storms may be more likely to form in the Atlantic Basin closer to the coast and the possibility of a major hurricane making landfall in the U.S. cannot be ruled out."
