Tropical Weather Update
November 9, 2008 – 10:30 a.m.
Royal Caribbean International continues to closely monitor the path and progress of Tropical Storm Paloma to ensure our guests enjoy safe and comfortable cruises, and to make certain our ships steer clear of the storm.
The safety of our guests and crew members is always our foremost concern.
Given the location and projected path of Tropical Storm Paloma, we are altering the itinerary of two ships:
Ships sailing from the Port of Miami
- UPDATE -- Freedom of the Seas, which departs November 9, will reverse the order if its port calls and exchange its port call in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, with a call in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The ship will visit Cozumel, Mexico, Tuesday; Georgetown, Cayman Islands, Wednesday; Montego Bay, Jamaica, Thursday; and Labadee, Haiti, Friday.
- Liberty of the Seas, which departs November 8, will now visit San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Wednesday, instead of Monday.
At this time, no other Royal Caribbean International ships are being adversely impacted by tropical weather. We will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and update this information Sunday, November 9, at 6:30 p.m.
