Yup The NHC was watching it before it came off Africa There is a ridge ahead of it though and if it isn't quick enough the ridge will turn it and it will be a fish

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IN THE VICINITY OF THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS IS
MOVING TO THE NORTHWEST AT 10 TO 15 MPH. SHOWER ACTIVITY
ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM HAS DIMINISHED...AND THE POTENTIAL FOR
TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IN THIS AREA IS DECREASING.

Along 27w South Of 22n. A 1009 Mb Low Pressure Center Is Along
The Wave Axis Near 18n26w. Scattered Showers Are Within 200 Nm
Either Side Of The Wave Axis. Conditions Are Not Conducive For
Significant Development During The Next Couple Of Days Due
Primarily To Cooler Sea Surface Temperatures.
