Looks like will not hit Brownsville dead on. Maybe just a tad north, which is good for brownsville - WAY better than a tad couth.

South Padre MAY officially be point of llandfall.

at 8 a.m. CDT, Dolly was located about 40 miles east of Brownsville, Texas.

The Category 1 storm has virtually come to a stop with the eye just off South Padre Island. Landfall over the U.S. - Mexico border is expected around midday.
