INVEST 98L Central Caribbean, south of Jamaica

    8:00 NHC Disco:

TROPICAL WAVE IS ALONG 75W S OF 18N MOVING W NEAR 10-15 KT. WELL
DEFINED LOW LEVEL INVERTED-V CURVATURE IS OBSERVED WITH A
POSSIBLE LOW LEVEL CENTER BEGINNING TO FORM NEAR 13N. SCATTERED
MODERATE/STRONG CONVECTION IS W OF THE WAVE DUE TO STRONG
EASTERLY UPPER LEVEL WINDS LOCATED FROM 12N-15N BETWEEN 76W-79W.
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

Not thinking it will do much... but when you think that is just when they surprise you.
Still . . . we are starting to slide by that second historical peak for activity

. . . And a lot of other places, too.
Best case scenario - goes in E of Pensacola, and moves NNE inland

For The North Atlantic...caribbean Sea And The Gulf Of Mexico...

Shower And Thunderstorm Activity Remains Disorganized In Association
With A Weak Low Pressure System Over The Southwestern Caribbean Sea
Located A Couple Hundred Miles East Of Northeastern Nicaragua. The
Low Is Expected To Continue Moving Generally Westward At 10 To 15
Mph Today...and Significant Development Is Not Likely Due To Strong
Upper-level Winds And The Proximity To Land. However This System
Could Cause Locally Heavy Rains Over Portions Of Central America
During The Next Day Or Two.

    2. The Weak Low Pressure System Just East Of Nicaragua Over The
Southwestern Caribbean Sea Has Become Very Disorganized This
Morning. Shower Activity Has Decreased And The Circulation Has
Become Very Poorly Defined. Development Of This System Is Not
Expected As It Moves Generally Westward At 10 To 15 Mph Over
Central America During The Next Couple Of Days. However...this
System Could Still Cause Locally Heavy Rains Over Portions Of
    Central America Today And Tomorrow.
