Lets hope it doesn't become stronger before it gets in the gulf, just the heavy rain we will get from this is bad enough for the homes damaged here, without it being tropical!! UGH

No, those folks sure don't need more trouble on top of what they've already had.

No, MC, it's not. This is from a separate 'weather feature' that dropped down from off the GA/ SC coast, wehre it was last week.

The remnants of Ingrid are still with us, but just barely, and a bit farther south.
About INGRID (from last night's TWO):
DISORGANIZED CLOUDINESS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM THE LEEWARD ISLANDS NORTHWARD FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES ARE ASSOCIATED WITH THE REMNANTS OF INGRID. UPPER-LEVEL WINDS REMAIN HIGHLY UNFAVORABLE FOR REGENERATION OF THIS SYSTEM.

Here's the graphic from the TWO quoted in my last post.

Item 1 is 93L, and the topic of this thread.
Item 2 is the remnants of Ingrid.

Tropical Weather Outlook
Nws Tpc/national Hurricane Center Miami Fl
530 Pm Edt Wed Sep 19 2007

For The North Atlantic...caribbean Sea And The Gulf Of Mexico...

Satellite Images Indicate That The Large Area Of Disturbed Weather
Over Florida...the Adjacent Atlantic And The Gulf Of Mexico Has Not
Become Any Better Organized During The Past Several Hours.
However...surface Pressures Have Continued To Fall And The
Environment Is Gradually Becoming Favorable For A Subtropical Or
Tropical Cyclone To Form...as The System Moves Westward Over The
Eastern Gulf Of Mexico During The Next Day Or Two. Showers And
Squalls Associated With This System Are Expected To Spread Over
Portions Of Florida Tonight And Thursday.

Cloudiness And Thunderstorms Extending From The Leeward Islands
Northeastward For Several Hundred Miles Are Primarily Associated
With The Remnants Of Ingrid. Although This Activity Has Increased
Today...upper-level Winds Are Not Favorable For Significant
Redevelopment Of This System.

Elsewhere...tropical Cyclone Formation Is Not Expected During The
Next 48 Hours.

I can confirm, the low is right over Cape Coral, and we can see the circulation of the clouds. We are still sunny with lots of clouds but they are white, not dark!! Thunderstorms are starting to build but not bad today!!
