Dean could hit the islands as a cat 2 or cat 3, that would be catastrophic for some, they just don't have the resources we do

Winds gusted up to 50.5 kts at Buoy 41040 last hour....waves are upwards of 26 to 28 feet....WOW!!!!! Pressure bottomed out at 29.73 inches of mercury...

Carnival has some ships in the deep Caribbean but there has been no alert on the Carnival web site to date.
