Note the error in Tip #5 - Hollad America does, in fact, allow you to bring as much wine on board as you want. On my last 11-night on the Noordam I brought a dozen bottles that I'd pre-ordered from a huge wine ship near the port. The money I saved by doing that, we spent on a spa package - a win for us and no loss for my buddy HAL!

I don't think they really made an error - they were just generalizing some of the policies without going into alot of detail.

For example; Disney allows you to bring beer, wine, or hard liquor (as much as you want) onboard their ships. It was funny to see guys rolling their small suitcases onboard with a case of beer strapped to it! I walked onboard carrying a 12-pack (twice in different ports) along with a big bottle of tequila.

So while the article did not cover every cruise line, I think the intent was fairly well presented. At least the entire article wasn't all negative, which with today's press, that's saying alot.
