Has anyone had experience with Cruises n more?

    Hi everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone have had experience with Cruises n more? So far they have the best deal for Allure of the Seas offering $250 in onboard credits. I've never purchased from there so it would be great if i could get some feedback on their service, reliability, etc. Thanks a lot!

I have never used them, but will say this. Be very careful of any on line agency. Make sure the fine print is out there for you to read. I personally only every use a travel agent. You might want to give a call to a travel agent and see what you can get from them. Make sure you know if they will charge you a cancellation fee or not. Same goes for the on line agency. As the saying goes, buyer beware.

    I agree with Hanna.

I always tell people look at the price on the cruise line's website. Then look at the price on some of the larger more reputable sites like Travelocity, Expedia, Vacations to Go, etc. You will find all of the prices are exactly the same. So if someone is offering the price for less, they are discounting. This goes against RCCL's policies and puts the agency in danger of loosing their credentials to sell their cruises. Obviously, not someone you want to do business with.

If they prices are the same and they are offering onboard credit, this can often mean the are giving some of their commission to you in the form of this credit. If they're doing this, then they have to make up the difference somehow. And as Hanna mentioned, this can often be done in the form of fees, penalties, or other charges. Plus, their personal assistance can often come from people who have never been on a cruise or to any of the ports you'll be visiting. Information about all this can only come from a reputable agent who has 'been there done that'. Check to see if other agents are offering onboard credit or not and this will give you a good indication as to what's going on.

Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you end up paying a much higher price than you bargained for, especially if problems arise. So, as your mother told you, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. And as she also said, you don't get something for nothing.

I don't know about them either. The best deals I have found are on Vacations to go. They are wonderful to work with and so easy. Just put in the name .com And be sure to sign up for their newsletters.

Just make sure that there are no change fees, etc. I have seen agencies say no fees and then in the fine print there are fees. Check around and use a reputable agent.
