I can't wait to see the reward points adding up though! They will be put to good use!

Just don't forget to pay it off monthly

I used to use my gas card for gas, now I use my CC for the points. Ditto on department stores.
    No more Macy's charge account.

Just be careful to give yourself enough time to use your points before your cruise. And if you use a TA, it gets a little sticky to use it.

I have some clients that want to transfer their cruises over to me. They are going to be paying off some of their cabins with these RCCL credit card certificates.

It takes a little while to get the actual certificate from the redemption center. Then you have to mail it into RCCL. And then they will apply it. But give yourself enough time to claim it. And the certificates are only valid for 6 months after printing.

    Hi Michele

In my experience it has taken about 3-4 weeks at the most to get the certificates. I always check up on them about 2 weeks after I make the initial request for them. So far, so good

Thanks Hanna! I am hoping we don't have a problem with these. Luckily they sail in September. So we have ALOT of time.

Three to 4 weeks would be great!

I'm thinking if they use them to pay on their cabins, it would have to be done 90 days in advance? or is that 70? Whichever, I wouldn't cut it to close either.

    Smile Royal Caribbean Credit Card

I recently opened an RC Visa card. So far, it looks to be a good option to earn points towards all sorts of cruise related perks. My first purchase earned me 10,000 points which is equivelant to $100 onboard credit. Furthermore, each $ spent on everyday purchases earn 1 point and RC cruise related puchases (i.e. cruise price, onboard account payments) earn 2:1 points. I'm going to have my wife open one as well so we can double up on the 10,000 point first purchase promo. More info can be found here:
