    Money Saving Tip #3...

Never buy your bottled water when leaving the ship for an excursion, or a little shopping. You can buy cold bottled water, soda, or beer, almost anywhere you go, and it is about 50%, or less, than the ship is selling it for..

If your on a real tight budget, keep the empty bottle and refill it on board before leaving for the day.

Or bring a few with you when embarking at the beginning of the cruise and refill them the whole time.

I board with an 8 pack!!
Some people try to turn back their odometers. Not me! I want people to know why I look this way. I've traveled a long way, and some of the roads weren't paved.

I found a large bottled water thingy at a camping store. It is just a large plastic water bottle that fits into a slightly insulated pouch that zips around it, which has a large shoulder strap. You just keep refilling the bottle and never have to take it out (though you could if you needed to). Great for hikiing.

Linda, I have one of those insulated "thingys". They are great for beverages beside the pool (either or land or preferably on a ship!)

This is somewhat away from beverages but another tip I find invaluable is a 6 outlet power strip. There is usually only one outlet in the cabin part of your cabin and you have hair dryers, hair curlers, digital cameras, video cameras, all that need to be charged or plugged in (often at the same time!). This way you can plug in 6 appliances. They are available in plastic so they don't weigh anything in your luggage if you are travelling to the ship.

Yep, the water from the taps on the ship is perfectly safe to drink and in fact tastes better than the water here at home.
