    Not open yet.

They will be closing parts in April 5-14, 2010.

There is a webcam of the construction:

I hope it doesn't interfere with my pictures in a few weeks!

I guess they'll have a major celebration on December 7, 2010, when it reopens.

A true place to honor real heros. A new center will be a good thing though the old one has served well. It is hard to visualize the carnage that took place there when you see the beauty that exists today.

I've been there before, but it was pre-digital age.

My mother knew someone who was on the Arizona. He was last seen trying to run up some stairs to escape. He didn't make it and went down with the ship.

Part of my mission is to capture his name among the list of names that didn't make it. GF's desire is to drop some rose petals. We will not fail.

I missed the flowers altogether. The rose petals blew all over. Some flowers from our leis.

A fitting memorial for deserving heroes. Let their sacrifice never be forgotten.
