I'll reccomend the Hilton Hawaiian Village(4 star) also.
The Ilikai, (3 star), Hawaii Prince Hotel (4 star), Resortquest At The Executive Center Hotel(3 star) in downtown Honolulu, Outrigger Reef On The Beach(4 star), Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk(3 star All Sute property), the 5 star Halekulani Hotel on Waikiki Beach, Sheraton Waikiki(3 star) & Royal Hawaiian Hotel(4 star).

With the exception of Resortquest, all the other hotels are in Waikiki.

Maile Sky Court is rated 2 star. I never book less than 3 or 4 star property.

Actually, I think having a "Fling" at Hawaii sounds like a great idea!!

David, Hilton Hawaiian Village, hands down. It is one of my favorite places in the world. Plus, you can just about walk everywhere from there. I believe they may also have an airport shuttle

My two times in Honolulu, have stayed at the Hawaiian Hilton twice. The second time we were even upgraded to a fantastic room with views from two different windows because we were on our honeymoon.
