Hi everyone !!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.Well being me and the hubbies anniversary is kinda close to the week of our cruise are there any extra perks we can receive while on our cruise? Its not a big yr anniversary but our anniversary just the same it will be 4 yrs married!

Did you say you are on Carnival?? If you want they will stick a candel into one of the dessert pieces of cake and sing Happy Anniversary to the tune of Happy Birthday. No other freebies. decorations and getting a full cake you have to pay for.

Don't know about Carnival but on HAL we bought the renewal of vows package. The captain preformed the ceremony in a private party for just 8 couples.

For our 25th we were on the Celebrity Century. Deb told the cruise director it was our 25th the first day and every time we saw her she made a point of talking to us. Oh yes, she had a plate of chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our room.

Let your Travel agent know about your anniversary, and she can check with the cruiseline to see what they can do for you. On our last cruise, they brought us a cake at dinner and posted a sign on our door - no charge to us. And who knows, your TA may decide to surprise you with something.

Some cruise lines will and some won't the best thing to do is to ring them up and tell them and see what awaits in your cabin. Dont be too guteed if there is nothing but a nice bunch of flowers or a swan towel animal might be all you get if anything!

If they have a special occasion package, you can bet the cruiseline will mention it on their website.

Definitely make sure it's part of your reservation (tell your travel agent), as each cruise line is different. It can't hurt to tell the Matre'D as besides a cake, he could always work with you to provide something special at the table.
