    How did you honeymoon?

Did you take a cruise and where? Did you splurge on a much nicer cabin than you would have normally? Or did you take a land trip?

We went on the Norway in 1985 for our honeymoon. We took the cruise first, then came home and got married.

no, unfortunately we did not have a real honeymoon. (it's a 2nd marriage for both of us)

BUT........I am correcting this by going on our first cruise Sept 2006. (this will be our 6th year anniversary)

Ten years ago we went to Hawaii (Kauai and Oahu) for our honeymoon. It's been the only vacation we've spent together since we met in '93 that hasn't involved a cruise.

Now, we going to cruise to Hawaii a month after our tenth anniversary. Hubby just realized that (the tenth anniv. part) just the other day.

AllieMan and I got married on New Years' Eve. We partied until we dropped and then our friend drove us to LAX where we had a 7:30 am flight to San Juan for our New Year's Day departure on a 7-night Caribbean Cruise on the Windward (NCL). What a wonderful time. Met another couple from NH who also got married on the New Year's Eve! We still keep in touch!

We went to an all-inclusive resort in Jamaica for a week and ate, drank and was thoroughly pampered and never had to worry about money for the duration of the trip!!!

I've mentioned this in another thread. We eloped during the second semester in college. Neither family was "thrilled" so when school was out for the summer we went to Hawaii for a "ten day honeymoon". Once we got there, we got jobs, a furnished apartment, and registered for University of Hawaii. Oh yeah, we cashed in our return trip tickets (in those days you could still do that.) Well the marriage that would never last celebrates its 44th. anniversary this coming March.
    27 cruises and countin'!
Next cruise, July 12-26, 2008. NCL Jade 13 night cruise around the British Isles, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris.
