For our Honeymoon we flew to South Beach for a 4 or 5 days. A hotel I did business with gave us a suite for the time we were there at regular room rate. We had a room right on Ocean Drive that overlooked the ocean on 2 sides. Some afternoons it was fun to sit on our bed and we can see the ships leave. We hung out on SoBe exploring Miami etc. and then we took a 7 day cruise on Carnival Triumph before flying home.

For our first anniversary we sailed from NY on an 8 day cruise on Carnival Legend. We had a suite and it turned out our anniversary day happened to be our first day at sea so we didn't have to worry about leaving the cabin and missing any port days
