Wow, really? I actually thought it was pretty inexpensive! And believe me, I'm the cheapest SOB in the world, lol. My father-in-law is Jewish, and says I'M more Jewish than him, haha. I take this as a compliment, btw

I figured $129 for the ceremony, flowers, champagne, strawberries, photo, silver frame, dinner at Pinnacle, card lesson (lol, I'm sure I'll know more than the "teacher"), $25 in casino chips and 25-minute aromatherapy massage was a pretty good deal. Am I missing something?

The price is out of line. Our anniversary is on a turn around day on our back-to-back cruises so they won't even consider anything for that day.

Today, as we were leaving our local mall, hubby said he thought it was going to be remodeled soon. I said, it's just been ten years since it was rebuilt (after a major earthquake took it done). He remembered it reopened right before we got married as he rented his tux there at the time. And he realized that meant we're about to celebrate our tenth anniversary, just a month before our cruise. Hmmmm.

Talking

We had ours at HMC (Half Moon Cay), at the Bahaman chapel, what a wonderful little ceremony HAL put together for us, we even had champagne and caviar afterwards! There was one other couple (married 14 yrs,) who were also renewing their vows at the same time we were (ours 28 yrs.), so we had segments of the ceremony together and at times separate, it was very well done! They even rang the chapel bell for all the island to hear when the ceremony was over Sent chills through me it was so awesome!!!
We recieved (5) 4x6 pictures and an album with our certificate in it. All for 99.00 which we thought was well worth it! That was back in Aug. '04 and now they have improved it so much more!

All the ceremonies sound romantic, maybe DH will be willing by next year. We will be cruising the week before our 22 anniversary. But alas I think he will feel like the DHs that think the original vows are working just fine THANK YOU!
