I'll quickly jump in with one piece of advice if you want to get married in a port. Have a plan B just in case the ship has to skip that port. On my Hawaiian cruise, while I was on the deck while our ship passed Kona due to high waves, someone said that there was a couple onboard who were planning to meet family and friends there for their wedding. Don't know whatever happened to them.
