Great Honeymoon cruise registry!!!!

Linda and I will be going on our honeymoon cruise to The Bahamas, and we found this GREAT website that allows users to create (quite easily, I might add!) their own cruise-related honeymoon registry.

You simply pick a category, and how many units you want and at what price, and your family and friends can give gifts that apply to your honeymoon!

Here's our page, just to show you how cool it is:

Honeymoon Registry for Linda Soper & Jonathan Lowry | Traveler's Joy

The service costs 7% of money collected, and you can get access to the money whenever you like!

And, no, they do not take FRUBALS!!!

If you want more info, there is a link on our site in the upper right corner... We are VERY pleased with how easy and fun it has been to create our own registry!

Hey Jonathan!

What a nice story! I guess those dating services really do pan out sometimes!

Interesting site for the registry. I've never seen one like that before....how did you come across it?

Actually, Linda and I did a Google search for "cruise wedding registry" to see if there was such a thing, and as it turns out, there are a couple of services like this out there... We checked into each, and decided that this one suited our needs best (ease of setup, ease of use, and ease of use for our guests).

Fantastic idea. Frankly I rather use the china onboard a cruise: let others wash the dishes!

I offer a free honeymoon registry to my clients- cruise or land package.

The bride and groom can create their own registry and put down any "gifts" they want. The wedding guests can purchase the gift (the registry company charges a 7% fee to cover their costs- which I equate to paying sales tax). The bride and groom get the gifts in cash so they can actually use it for anything they want (including paying for the honeymoon!)

I had one couple that got over $2000 in gifts from the registry and they used it for a ton of shore excursions on their 14 night cruise.

I offer the honeymoon registry to all of my clients as a way to maximize their honeymoon budget. Some take me up on it, some don't. I think it is a lot more fun than buying someone a crock pot!

This is an awesome idea. How many times have I said, "do I really want to get them that crockpot on their list"? Yuk.

I think a honeymoon registry is a fantastic idea.
I was doing some research online about this very subject, tonight...
for a friend.

So many people don't do a real get-away honeymoon,
because they can't afford one.
