When I started reading this thread, I was going to drop a line to Yonnie for the menu information but she beat me to it.

Thank you, like always, Yonnie. You do know your Holland America!

Joe was very disappointed with the fish that HAL had on our 21 Noordam cruise a couple of months ago. HAL bought the cheapest fish and meat products that they could find. I love beef -- but in the main dining room it was always tough.

Yonnie, I noticed that on our Noordam cruise. The food was well prepared, but it felt like they were not using that great of cut of beef. It was a big disappointment when compared to our first Veendam cruise.

You have to try Celebrity, especially if you like lamb. I am not sure where they are getting their lamb from, but it is delicious.

One thing that was brought back -- Beef Wellington -- and that did have the better beef.

We were checking out Celebrity cruises for the fall of 2012 -- but most don't start until near the end of November.

There was Eclipse cruise that we were interested in -- same ports we have done many times -- but the cabin type we are used to -- over $4000 more than what we would pay on HAL for our SA Suite.

We thought it was a little out of line ourselves.

Are you sure that you are comparing equal sized cabins? I know you probably are, but I just needed to confirm. You have so many different classes of suites now a days.
